In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday we celebrated yesterday in the U.S., we want to express our thanks for your continued support of Alorium Technology and the development of our XLR8 board!

I wanted to share a few updates on this Black Friday 2015.

Kickstarter Final Stretch

Our Kickstarter campaign is in the Final Stretch! There are only four days left to make your pledge and assist us with moving XLR8 to volume production.

Remember, you only pay if we are successful with hitting our goal. We have a sizable gap to close in the next four days, but it is not impossible.

If you have been giving it some thought but weren’t sure, now is the time to help us out!

Mouser and Alorium Technology

We are very pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement with Mouser Electronics as a distribution partner for XLR8!  As we kick-off the prototype build of our final production XLR8 boards, we understand the importance of having a strong and trusted distribution network.
We are excited to be working with such a great company – a true “Household Name” in the electronics industry!

NeoPixel Demo Video

As I mentioned in last week’s update, we recently completed our NeoPixel Xcelerator Block, and there is a new video available that demonstrates the functionality of the XB.

The XLR8 NeoPixel XB provides three key improvements for controlling NeoPixel shields, strips, etc:

  1. Data memory is not used for pixel color storage.
  2. Interrupts are not disabled while sending color data to the pixel array.
  3. Changing pixel brightness does not corrupt color data.

You can watch the video at our website right now. Click here to check it out!

There’s a lot going on, and we are thrilled that you are joining us on the journey!  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at any time if you have questions.   We love hearing from you.

Thanks again!
Jason
